As night falls there is plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. You will not find any discos in St George although there are a few music bars, which offer the normal karaoke, pop quizzes etc and normally stay open till the last person leaves!

IF IT IS A BUSY MUSIC BAR OR A QUIET TAVERNA TUCKED AWAY IN THE OLIVE GROVES, ST GEORGE OFFERS THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS.

THIS TAVERNA AQUARAS CAN BE FOUND ON THE ISSOS BEACH ROAD ABOUT A 20 MINUTE WALK FROM THE RESORT CENTRE, SURROUNDED BY OLIVES GROVE THIS IS A RELAXING PLACE TO COOL OFF WITH A COLD DRINK OR A SNACK.

Many bars have nightly karaoke for you to sing the night away.

THE COOKOOS NEST

The Cookoos Nest opened in the summer of 2006, on the site of the old chinese restaurant.

Owned and run by Alaxdranda and Spiro, this is an ideal venue for that "chilled out" evening.

Overlooking the beach, The Cookoos nest offers a international menu and cocktail list and can be located at the northen end of the resort, on the main road.

 SO THE NIGHTLIFE TENDS TO REVOLVE AROUND THE TAVERNAS, RESTAURANTS  AND BARS WHETHER ITS A QUIET DRINK, A LIVELY MUSIC BAR,  A GREEK NIGHT, POP QUIZ OR KARAOKE, ST GEORGE CATERS FOR ALL.

 (HOWEVER FOR THE ENERGETIC  KAVOS IS A 20 MINUTE TAXI RIDE AWAY).

 MANY RESTAURANTS AND TAVERNAS LINE THE MAIN ROAD WITH A SCATTERING OF MUSIC BARS MIXED IN.

STAMATIS BAR CAN BE FOUND AT THE NORTHERN END OF THE RESORT AND IS A LONG ESTABLISHED BAR AND RESTURANT.

THE BIGGEST BAR IN ST GEORGE OPEN ALL DAY AND NIGHT,  IS AN IDEAL PLACE FOR BREAKFAST,  LUNCH AND DINNER.

OVERLOOKING THE SEA WITH A LOVELY TERRACE,  STAMATIS OFFERS A WIDE RANGE OF BOTH ENGLISH AND GREEK FOODS.

 AT NIGHT TIME THE FUN REALLY HOTS UP WITH NIGHTLY POP QUIZES AND KARAOKE. 

 ITS NOT UNKNOWN FOR THE BAR STILL TO BE OPEN AT 6AM.  (CAN BE FOUND OPPOSITE THE STAMATIS SUPERMARKET).
