35 KILOMETRES SOUTH FROM CORFU TOWN, ST GEORGE IS POPULAR WITH BOTH TOURISTS AND LOCALS.
THE BUS FROM CORFU TOWN TO ST GEORGE SOUTH COSTS AROUND 2 EURO.

Both beaches offer many of the usual "watersports", including Jet Ski's and padalos. . There are a couple of good tavernas within easy walking distance of the southern beach - Malabu and Barbayannies.
Car and Bike hire are available from several places in the resort.
There is now an ATM (cash point) in the resort (opposite Hectors Supermarket near the harbour).
All major cards catered for (e.g. Cirrus, Link, Maestro, etc). Travellers Cheques can be cashed in a number of places within the resort, again, the TRAVEL AGENTS in the resort, all tend to offer about the same exchange rate.

The resort has grown rapidly over the last few years, although it is still relatively small. It spans two bays with golden sandy beaches in each, with a rocky outcrop and the harbour in between.
ST GEORGE SOUTH has the right recipe for a successful holiday and there is something for everyone.
Some of the most spectacular sunsets are to be captured from many positions - over a long cool drink from the terrace of a cafe or restaurant.
