PAXOS

CAPTAIN KOSTAS DEPARTS FROM THE JETTY IN ST GEORGE SOUTH FOUR TIMES PER WEEK

A walk up to Argirades village is also recommended, but allow plenty of time and wear some sensible shoes.

There are two routes up to the village.  Firstly, (if going by car), take the main road out of St George (signed Argirades 4Km) up to the T junction with the main road. Turn right (south) away from Corfu Town - the village is a few miles along the road.

An alternative, on foot, is to take the road at the southern end of the resort just before the Kafesass fish restaurant

(signed Argirades 3km) --

follow the road up past some of the quieter apartments / small hotels and onto a dirt track through the olive groves.

This is a lovely walk but beware the heat of midday as it is quite steep and  offers little protection from the sun.

GRAND ISLAND TOUR

A DAY LONG COACH TOUR AROUND THE ISLAND STOPPING OFF AT ALL THE MAJOR ATTRACTIONS, INCLUDING THE ACHILLION PALACE, CORFU TOWN, PALEOKASTRITSA, WITH ITS WORKING MONESTRY AND MUCH MORE.
