ST GEORGE SOUTH IS THE IDEAL LOCATION FOR A BEACH HOLIDAY, LONG SANDY BEACHES WITH SUNBEDS AND A SELECTION OF WATERSPORTS, INCLUDING ; PEDELOS, PARASAILING, JET SKIING AND BOAT HIRE.

THERE ARE PLENTY OF BEACHSIDE TAVERNAS OFFERING EVERYTHING FROM SANDWICHES TO FOUR COURSE MEALS.

SUNBEDS ARE AVAILABLE TO HIRE ON THE BEACH, NORMALLY 5-6 EURO PER SET.

GOLDEN BEACH AT THE SOUTH END OF THE RESORT OFFER THAT QUIET, RELAXING SPOT FOR THOSE CHILLED OUT MOMENTS.

BOTH BEACHES OFFER EXCELLENT WATERSPORTS

KEEP AN EYE OPEN FOR THE "SEXY DOUGHNUT MAN" SELLING DOUGHNUTS ALONG THE BEACHES (WELL WORTH THE TREAT)

A FEW OF THE MANY TAVERNAS AND BARS OVER LOOKING THE BEACH

THERE IS A LOVELY WALK ALONG THE BEACH TO A LITTLE RESORT CALLED MATTHIOS, TO GET THERE YOU JUST WALK ON THE MAIN ROAD HEADING SOUTH STRAIGHT ALONG AS FAR AS THE ROAD GOES,THEN YOU WALK ALONG THE CLIFF ROAD, DOWN ONTO THE BEACH AND KEEP ON WALKING YOU WILL SEE THE BUILDINGS IN THE DISTANCE.... AN IDEAL PLACE FOR LUNCH. (appx walking time ; one hour each way)
